GCash All network is now available which expands the user base for Globe’s GCash. This is an attempt to beat the competitor PayMaya that works on all networks including the special sim Smartbro and Globe Tattoo. This is a good news for Gcash lovers but there was a catch which you can read below.
PLDT have just launched it’s new MVP Rewards system replacing the old point base reward system for loyal subscribers. I first got this offer last November stating that I can join the new promotion offer that will take place on January 2018.

PayPal supports withdrawal to VISA cards and luckily your PayMaya card is powered by VISA. PayPal allows withdrawal feature, allowing you to transfer funds from your PayPal account to your Visa® branded credit, debit or prepaid card. This new feature will enable you to gain convenient access to your funds and is available in 26 countries, including Malaysia, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.
GCash have recently announced that they will be charging customers with NO TRANSACTIONS in 6 months for P50 per month. All inactive cards with Zero balance will be closed. This move will clean up unused reserved card numbers (virtual/physical) and return them to the allocation pool. This is a bold move but will potentially bring interest back to GCash which was left behind a lot by the Launch SmartMoney’s PayMaya.
Globe have released it’s own version of a Beep Chip embedded prepaid credit/debit card for dual use in the internet and for riding MRT and LRT lines. This card was released a day or two ahead of the PayMaya rival from Smart e-Money which was a Visa card and it packs it’s own advantage over it’s rival.
