Being loved due to its power, price and bundled offers and at the same time hated for it’s low battery capacity and memory. The bad sides of this entry level phone but what do you expect from a phone exclusive to Smart priced at P888?

Due to the overwhelming response and acceptance of the first MyPhone My28 subsidized phone from Smart, the said unit went out of stock in just less than 2 weeks. I was lucky enough to secure a few units, one from a friend involve in the cellphone retail industry, one from a random Smart Store and the last one from Smart Online Store.
The Telco giant have noticed this phenomenal acceptance of the budget entry level unit when stores went out of stock in minutes or a few days. My28 which was subsidized by Smart goes viral on multimedia networks due to a few factors.
MyPhone have recently partnered with Smart telecom from it’s recent anniversary and released their low cost Quadcore my28 Phone for P888. On some countries, 888 means luck or lucky and on some it means the number of Jesus Christ. It was not directly explained on how they derived the P888 price but one thing is for sure, Smart have thrown out more than P1000 to subsidize this phone.
