Gcash is now offering a fast and reliable way to send your cash into your bank account. The feature still has some hiccups like a limitation on how many people can send to any bank at a given time but the feature is here and there is no turning back.
GCash All network is now available which expands the user base for Globe’s GCash. This is an attempt to beat the competitor PayMaya that works on all networks including the special sim Smartbro and Globe Tattoo. This is a good news for Gcash lovers but there was a catch which you can read below.
GCash have recently announced that they will be charging customers with NO TRANSACTIONS in 6 months for P50 per month. All inactive cards with Zero balance will be closed. This move will clean up unused reserved card numbers (virtual/physical) and return them to the allocation pool. This is a bold move but will potentially bring interest back to GCash which was left behind a lot by the Launch SmartMoney’s PayMaya.
Globe have released it’s own version of a Beep Chip embedded prepaid credit/debit card for dual use in the internet and for riding MRT and LRT lines. This card was released a day or two ahead of the PayMaya rival from Smart e-Money which was a Visa card and it packs it’s own advantage over it’s rival.
